Simon Gamble is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in renewable energy, microgrid development and operational leadership. He is currently based in the New York metropolitan area and serves as Chief Operating Officer at Enernet Global, where he plays a key role in advancing the company’s mission to decarbonise supply chains through innovative hybrid power solutions and microgrid development.
Enernet Global specialises in providing Energy-as-a-Service systems, integrating multiple renewable energy sources and battery storage with advanced control technologies to deliver clean, reliable energy while reducing costs and emissions for clients.
During his tenure at Hydro Tasmania, Simon managed hybrid energy solutions and off-grid systems, demonstrating his expertise in small-scale renewable energy development. As Project Director for the King Island Renewable Energy Integration Project (KIREIP), he demonstrated his ability to manage complex, large-scale renewable energy initiatives.
He also served as Manager of Technology and Commercialisation and Group Manager for Renewable Energy at Entura, a specialist power and water consulting firm.
